The Kiwanis Club of Venice, Florida
The Kiwanis Club of Venice, Florida was Chartered on January 23, 1957. Known as the Venice Kiwanis Club, it is considered the Flagship Club of the region. In the past 47 years, the Club has taken a leadership role in many projects for the betterment of the community, Especially those designed to help the less privileged. A Kiwanis concern has always been young Children.

We are proud of the high caliber of men and women who compose the membership of our Club. We try hard to provide a program each Wednesday at our noon meeting that is respected and worthy of your attendance. The charitable objects of Kiwanis are known worldwide. The objects will continue to be successful only if we continue to attract the leadership and future leadership of the public agencies, business and industry and the various professions to Kiwanis. Kiwanis membership is by invitation only. Please look us over.

How Does the Kiwanis Club Serve The Community?
It, along with other clubs in the area, supports the Kiwanis Youth Programs. These programs include the K-Kids for Elementary School, Builders Clubs for Middle School, Key Clubs for the High School, and Circle K for College and University students. We also sponsor the Loveland AKtion Club for members that are mentally and physically challenged.

Community Service Awards, which are given by the Club as recognition to those individuals who have made a notable contribution to improving the community.
